Dr. Ivan Pongracic came to the United States from the former Yugoslavia at the age of twelve. He became interested in the freedom philosophy as a teenager influenced by his father’s free-market and classical liberal ideas. He earned a B.S. in engineering from Purdue University in Indiana and a Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University in Virginia. Lively presentation is the hallmark of his teaching style.

Dr. Ivan Pongracic and his wife Christina live in Hillsdale with their dog “Friedrich von Hayek.”
