Healthcare “Reform” Will Increase Costs, CBO Says

“The health-care measures being drafted by congressional Democrats would increase rather than reduce public spending on health care, potentially worsening an already bleak federal budget outlook, the director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Thursday.” (Seattle Times ^[1], Friday)

The administration asks for faith: “At the end of the day, we’ll have significant cost controls,” presidential adviser David Axelrod said.
