House, Senate Tackle Details of “Stimulus”

“With the Senate’s approval Tuesday of a massive, $838-billion economic stimulus package, congressional negotiators launched into a high-risk race to come up with a compromise bill that could be delivered to the White House by the end of the week.” (Los Angeles Times [1], Wednesday)
In this case, the devil is in the big picture, not just the details.
