President Nicolas Sarkozy of France has called for the world to unite to explore Mars. Speaking during a visit to French Guaiana, Mr Sarkozy called for a coalition of the willing from Europe, America, Russia and beyond to explore the red planet. (Telegraph [1], Wednesday)
