Competition, Cooperation and the Environment

This FEE Seminar will feature new talks on the environment, economics simulations (games!), and outdoor sports and recreation.  There will also be presentations for Lincoln-Douglas debaters on competition vs. cooperation.
  • Socialist Promises vs. Socialist Realities
Gabriella Megyesi grew up in communist Hungary and attended Karl Marx University.  She and her family experienced socialism first-hand.  Socialism promises to protect the environment fail in the U.S. just as they did in communist countries. Through stories, economic principles, and active learning simulations, Ms. Megyesi teaches key economic principles.
  • Team building exercises (experiments in cooperation).
  • Presentations on environmental issues by Greg Rehmke and Gabriella Megyesi.
  • Competition vs. Cooperation presentation by Greg Rehmke.
  • Lunch and Dinner Tuesday, Lunch Wednesday.
  • Volleyball, Basketball, Frisbee, Ping pong (and more…)
Thousands of homeschool students have attended FEE Seminars. Fee.org/seminars FEE.org and TheFreemanOnline.org are resources for speech and debate research. FEE.org/homeschool for topic research.
