A lecture by Professor David Beito delivered to students attending the History and Liberty seminar. Professor Beito talks about the economic opportunities available for the black community in historic perspective. The absence of political rights, such as the right to vote, led to the passage of laws of segregation that resulted in restriction of economic opportunities.
