Lawrence:

Thank you! Another one of my favorites was Werner Sichel. Werner is also retired from teaching however still active in his summer seminar series.

Regards,

Dennis,

I don't know enough at WMU today to offer an opinion. If Professor Donald Alexander is still there in the Economics Department, he is terrific! Professor Wayland Gardner was great as well, but he retired some years ago. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

What are your thoughts on Western Michigan University and their Department of Economics? I graduated from WMU in 1963, majoring in Economics and Business, and at that time the majority of economic professors were free market advocates. Hopefully, this has not changed.

As a current student and research assistant to Dr. Hobbs, I can say that I am glad that I made the choice to double major in finance and economics. I look forward to Dr. Kerekes' Economic Development and Dr. Stansel's Urban Economics next semester.
